Eating Disorder Recovery

Eating disorders are serious but treatable. Through regular telehealth sessions, we’ll work to restore adequate nutrition, reduce eating disorder behaviors, and rebuild a more peaceful relationship with food and your body.

Eating Disorders I Support

I work with adolescents and adults in recovery from:

  • Anorexia
  • Bulimia
  • Binge eating disorder
  • ARFID (avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder), including in children
  • Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (REDs)
  • Orthorexia

If you’re a parent who doesn’t know how to help your child eat, you’re in the right place. Many of the families I work with start right there.

How Nutrition Therapy Helps

Recovery happens step by step. In our sessions, we focus on:

  • Restoring regular, adequate nutrition
  • Reducing eating disorder behaviors
  • Rebuilding trust with food and your body
  • Coordinating with your therapist, physician, and care team

I stay in regular contact with your primary care provider and therapist, so everyone supporting you works from the same plan.

What Recovery Can Look Like

Over time, I see adolescents and adults regain confidence in their body image and eat with food freedom.

What to Expect When We Work Together

We start with a free 20-minute discovery call, so you can ask questions and see if we’re a good fit. Next is an initial assessment, which runs 60 to 90 minutes. After that, follow-up sessions are 30 to 40 minutes. Every appointment is virtual.

Recovery is easier alongside people who understand. These national organizations offer free support groups, online and in person, for anyone affected by an eating disorder and for the families and friends supporting them.
